Over ons

We’re surrounded—everywhere we turn, we’re bombarded by toxins. In 2024, the invisible dangers are overwhelming. Substances hidden in our food, beauty products, and everyday routines silently chip away at our health. The effects are undeniable, showing up earlier and more aggressively than ever before.

Before 2021, I was like most people, enjoying the bliss of my ignorance and naivety. I lived without a second thought about the products I used or consumed. My life was filled with the usual indulgences: alcohol, coffee, pork, and brand-name products like Robijn, Andrelon, Rituals, and fluoride toothpaste. It was just the norm. But then, out of nowhere, the pandemic hit—a global pause that forced me to take a closer look at what I considered “normal.”

It began innocently enough, shifting my focus from counting calories to reading the fine print—the ingredient labels on the backs of packages. The deeper I dove, the clearer it became: many of the things we consume and use daily are not just unhealthy—they’re actively harming us. Hormonal imbalances, digestive discomfort, skin conditions—these weren’t random issues. They were direct results of the hidden toxins in my life.

2021 marked a turning point. Years of symptoms had built up: fluid retention in my hands and fingers, white spots from tinea versicolor, persistent bloating, hair that refused to grow, brittle nails, cold sores, and stubborn acne. That is where I decided that I was done. Done with the pills, the creams, the short-term fixes. I needed a solution that lasted. For good!

On February 1st, I committed to a detox—a complete reset. It will turn out to be 8 months in the end. If someone would have told me that it would be that long in the beginning, I would have probably quit right there and then. I am glad no one did, so I was able to go by my own pace taking it day by day. From one day to the next, I gave up cooked food and embraced raw living. Raw fruits, vegetables, and juices became my new normal. It wasn’t just a diet; it was a revelation. Those first months were grueling. With only a handful of herbal teas for comfort, I pushed through exhaustion and doubt. But amidst the struggle, something awoke in me—a fascination with nature’s remedies.

I immersed myself in the teachings of natural health pioneers. Dr. Sebi taught me, “If nature didn’t make it, don’t take it.” Dr. Morse encouraged me with, “Fruit all day, every day.” And Barbara O’Neill’s guidance deepened my understanding of holistic healing. For eight months, I stayed disciplined, relying solely on raw foods, juices, and herbal remedies. And it worked.

That journey ignited a passion that changed my life. But this isn’t just my story—it’s also my husband’s.

As a child growing up in Nigeria, he faced a life-threatening illness. His family tried everything, cycling through medication after medication with no results. Desperate, his grandmother Grace turned to the wisdom of the earth. She applied an herbal extract and charcoal to two open wounds, and his fever slowly began to break. That moment not only saved his life but planted the seed for his lifelong belief in natural healing.

Together, my husband and I created Grace Full of Health as a tribute to Grandma Grace and her unwavering faith in nature’s power. It’s a name that carries our journey, our mission, and our love for holistic well-being.

This is more than a brand—it’s a movement. A call to return to the roots of health, where nature holds the answers we’ve been searching for.
